Wixzel Voice is a voice AI API for building AI agents that place and answer real phone calls over your own SIP trunk, or talk to people in your web and mobile apps. One API key and one prepaid balance cover every voice engine, billed per second of actual usage. APIs for agentic telephony: you build the agent, and Wixzel Voice runs its voice engine on every call. Phone calls go over your own SIP trunk; web and app sessions go over a WebSocket, with no trunk at all. There is no ElevenLabs, Deepgram or OpenRouter key to bring: one API key, one balance, every voice engine. Wixzel Voice is in alpha: 5 concurrent calls per account by default (raised on request), no phone numbers sold, no free tier, a $5 minimum top-up, and human transfer is blind only, on phone calls (not test calls or web and app sessions).

What does Wixzel Voice replace?

A voice agent normally means separate contracts, keys and invoices for speech-to-text, the model and speech synthesis, each with its own failure mode and its own bill to reconcile. On Wixzel Voice, a call is one request:

Does Wixzel Voice sell phone numbers or minutes?

No. Calls run over a SIP trunk you already have. Wixzel Voice does not resell minutes, so your carrier rates and carrier relationship are unchanged, and there is no telephony markup on your bill. Wixzel Voice does not sell numbers itself, but it can buy one for you on your own carrier account. With Twilio, Telnyx, Plivo, Vobiz or Vonage connected, pick a number from Phone numbers → Buy a number in the console.
