# Vobiz SIP trunk: console steps for Wixzel Voice

> Connect a Vobiz SIP trunk to Wixzel Voice for AI phone calls: the per-trunk SIP domain as host, IP ACL or credentials, and what Vobiz calls origination.

Agents you build on Wixzel Voice place and answer phone calls over a SIP trunk
you bring, and Vobiz is one of the carriers that works with it. Vobiz bills you
for the trunk and the minutes at your own rates; the voice engine is billed per
second of actual usage from your Wixzel Voice balance. This page covers where
Vobiz keeps each setting. The steps that are the same for every carrier, and the

  Allowlist **`95.216.218.102`** for outbound calls, and send inbound calls to
  **`sip:95.216.218.102:5090`**. Every trunk returns both as `platform_ip` and
  `origination_uri`, so read them from `GET /v1/sip-trunks` rather than trusting
  this page to stay current.

## How do I connect a Vobiz SIP trunk to Wixzel Voice?

Vobiz auto-generates a SIP domain per trunk in the form
**`<trunkId>.sip.vobiz.ai`**: use that as your Wixzel Voice trunk's `host`, not a
bare IP.

    Vobiz supports both. For a platform-to-carrier interconnect the IP ACL is the
    one to use: add **`95.216.218.102`** to the trunk's allowlist. Credentials
    go on your Wixzel Voice trunk's `username` and `password` if you prefer digest
    authentication.

      Vobiz uses **origination URI** for the opposite direction from Twilio: on
      Vobiz it is where calls leaving your trunk are routed, and it supports
      several with priority-based failover and weighted load balancing. Read their
      field descriptions rather than mapping the word across from another
      carrier's console.

Vobiz expects the leading `+` on the number, so leave `send_plus` at its
default.

## What if a Vobiz call does not connect?

Work through [When a call does not connect](/sip-trunks#when-a-call-does-not-connect),
and start with Vobiz's own call logs: they show whether the call reached Vobiz
at all and how Vobiz cleared it. In India, an account that has not finished KYC
can have every outbound call cleared while holding a positive balance.
